I just hate how obsessive the fanbase can gets over the characters, to the point that it effects the writing. No one is actually willing to see these characters actually take advantage of the fact that they're older or have a whole list of new things open to them. No, I'm not asking for boyfriends, going to bars or any of that shit. Just the fact that they're older and actually have to do new things.
I don't see the point in continuing past high school if it's not going to bring anything NEW to the table. I don't care about these new characters if they're not actually going to be anything than lame placeholders and expys of other characters that I've grown to love.
I don't even know why I'm bothering, because the manga thrives on that, and it's really the anime where I feel like they become characters instead of cute girls for me to stare at
