>>3193012I agree, I think it's nonsense that two such capable characters went down so easily, but they also only had about one minute of runtime to work with, so they couldn't really do an epic showdown. For some encouragement, I'll leave you with this to consider: of all the characters they could have used to put over Doomie the Wonderfister, they chose them. Which means they had enough confidence in their credentials to know it would be a shock to see happen. And by placing them opposite a figure who looks to be vaunted as one of -the- main bad guys with his first appearance, they've already set a precedent that could see them brought back under far more dire circumstances when the narrative momentum is more in their favor. They're not just skirting the edges preoccupied with things that don't matter; they're in the thick of the main conflict, and failure in Act I does not preclude success in Act III. So when the tide eventually turns, they'll likely be right there on the front lines to help foster fortune's inevitable swing.
And for future reference, it's considered proper decorum around here that if you must post an image, have it be of a cute girl. I see your point, but this isn't /vg/ and rules are rules.
>>3193016I'm sorry to hear that, and I guess we'll have to disagree. For what it's worth, the chance for things to become more engaging just hasn't come along yet, which might change; I would also like a sisterly relationship with Hana, and maybe we'll get it once things pick up and the heroes start coming together. My idea of a favorable Tracer development would explore her resilience and dedication in spite of her myriad setbacks and troubles, with Emily by her side to encourage her when she's at her lowest. Basically, I want Lena to be Peter Parker and Em to be Mary Jane.
I've had better discussions about this game here than in /owg/. I don't think I can go back. /c/ is just so much cozier. I would like Steampunk Tracer and full-on Medieval Reinhardt.
