>>3488089Well as said the treason isn't that she wanted to save innocent people, but HOW did did it: She spoke to the leader of a foreign armed force that had, at best, 'cool' relations with Britain, and then convinced said leader to deploy an armed force(4 people, true, but 4 incredibly powerful people) to invade it. Per the Felony Treason Act 1848, this is, well, Treason Felony. Not big treason obviously, but still a bit more serious than just “Well the Prime Minister said no and she didn’t listen”, but as aforementioned, she almost certainly didn’t intend to/knowingly do it(I say -almost- because it’s Blizz we’re talking about here).
Although if we're speaking subjectively, I'd much prefer that she asked Torbjorn, Rein and Angie to help -her- save the innocents. She’d still get to save innocent people, without this even being an issue.
I’d buy that actually, but surely there’d be one Officer willing to listen when she asked to keep Fareeha out(And so ‘safe’). Although now that I think about it, Overwatch putting down Anubis(Which crippled Egypt so bad it still hasn’t completely recovered in the present) and then apparently doing...not enough afterwards, might have had a big part in the not/no longer listening, especially since they didn’t even finish the job, and there’s now just a ticking Not!Skynet time bomb sitting in the temple waiting to go off(which did happen).
Ah but sorry for taking so long to reply this time. Still feeling a tad down, hope you’re all doing fine yourselves though.
(And then right when I’m about to post I see that Blizzard finally killed the game to appeal to OWL 'fans' this time. We had a good-ish run.)
