>>4260187>>version of Eva where Kaworu is allowed to be included in class 2-A and has a life outside of SEELE's glowniggatry>>rest of class 2-A are also pilots and have their own teamsYeah sounds comfy indeed, I really do hope now that the series has essentially been made into an open source franchise that we get comfy spinoffs like this, I know Anno already expressed that he had a hankering to make an inter-quel between 2.0 & 3.0 to show what happened following the NERV civil war, as well as how everyone transitioned from their relatively bubbly classic NGE selves in 2.0, to battle hardened vets that have a hatred for the Eva units and their ramifications like we see in 3.0
It'd probably work better as a series but even just a comfy manga akin to what the Clone Wars was for Star Wars where it fills in the gap between the two films with side plots and tons of foreshadowing
