>>3294948Okay, I think I have a better picture of where you're coming from now, and to an extent, I agree. There definitely needs to be more work put into reuniting the characters instead of keeping them isolated while only tangentially touching upon the issue of getting them back together. I don't think something like a mundane relationship necessarily precludes that or anything else potentially interesting from happening in the future, especially when the issue is fairly widespread and there are too many unknown factors at play to know with certainty what is going to happen, so you and I are just going to have to disagree on that. I don't know what's going to happen, and I've tried to offer a positive take without being blindly optimistic, but I'm beginning to think there's nothing I can say that will make you feel better.
My honest advice? Take a break. You deserve it. We -all- do once in a while for what Jeff and Mike make us put up with. Even me with my sunny disposition has accepted we likely won't be seeing any chance for improvement in several months. I'm not happy about that, but I'm willing to wait, and do you know how I cope with it? I get involved with other things to make the wait more tolerable, and I use these threads to share things I love about my favorite character(s). We can still commiserate and air our grievances, but take it from someone who has ridden this carousel many, many times: it is very important to focus on the things -you- enjoy.
Please, tell me something that makes you happy, and I'll do the same once I get home from work. In the meantime, I leave you this video, and I hope it brings you some measure of joy while I'm away:
