Personally I dont like entire EVAgeeks fanwank with literally anything including part-souls which is entirely an asspull.
So I apply Occam's razor any try to figure out a simplier explaination that makes more sense and does not involved parts of souls at all.
Evageeks wouldnt stop asspull in that Rei is part Yui part Lilith, Asukas mom is part in eva part in original body, Q is part Rei who in her turn is part Yui part Lilith, and Unit00 is either original Rei soul(Clones dont have them) or Naoko(SHE FUCKING DIED) etc ad noaseam.
Where did they get that shit?
Nothing of this is remotely implied in EVA or in interviews or any official spinoffs.
So i go simplier.
Rei is JUST LILITH 100% NATURAL (Yui additives free)
Unit 00 unknown unwilling test subject, hence the worst performance and suicidal tendencies.
Rei Q - dummy Plug zombie.
Short, simple, makes sense and free of implications.
