I saw them last year and it was one of the best shows I've ever been to. A guy next to me had to go to the toilet to throw up and take a time-out because it was so loud. I ended up locking eyes with Gira for a decent five minutes and then immediately afterwards Norman Westberg took over, it was a super intense eye-contact standoff. Gira is super nice in person, when I met him he was flirting with all the girls in the merch queue in that classic American "Hey darlin' " kinda way, haha. Said he recognised me from the crowd and he was real humbled when I told him how much his stuff meant to me.
(Don't tell anyone, but I'm actually in the DVD that comes with The Glowing Man for about 5 seconds)
