Honestly, I like both Rei and Asuka. Rei throughout the series and Asuka only from the manga.
Rei definitely [spoiler:lit]is not my waifu[/spoiler:lit] but looking at pictures of her and remembering her strife in NGE calms me down because she has this relaxing aura, something my actual waifu and I don't have since we're figurative fireballs.
