I finished Fuga 2 recently.
The art and characters were just as good as the last game. I adore these cute fluffy girls (the boys are nice too, I guess).
But I was disappointed by the game overall, because the gameplay was almost identical to the first game, and it also reused too many assets, so it was very repetitive and unoriginal. It did have some new gimmicks added in, but it felt more like a DLC instead of a full game. That said, it wasn't really a bad game, just way too similar to the first one.
I wish I just watched a playthrough instead of buying it, because I enjoyed the story and characters more than the gameplay. If the next game in the series doesn't change up the gameplay, I likely won't buy it.
