>>3200418That's kinda true, but Helix is more about private security and AI research, and they don't have the same glamor or pathos attached to them as Overwatch, which I've been waiting to see pay off for years. The only character associated with them who's worth caring about is Pharah, and even she initially wanted to join OW and has been dropping hints since day one that she still does.
Baseless speculation time! Maybe when Overwatch's comeback starts gaining steam, the two could convene through their mutual interests and pool their resources, maybe even merging into one organization (sort of like how the Silver Hand and the Argent Dawn together became the Argent Crusade to in WoW, to offer another Blizzard example). That might help lend Overwatch some legitimacy after being outlawed for years, and it would bring a substantial amount of resources and manpower to their cause instead of having them start almost entirely from scratch.
