I didn't start the thread but I suggested it on the last one; it's just because 88 stands for Heil Hitler and it's the 88th thread so it doesn't have to mean anything beyond that. I'm liberal myself, but this being 4chan I'm sure some might be actual nazis, just toughen up and don't let it offend your sensibilities by taking it too seriously.
