>>3419870>if someone else has your waifu? This has not happened in my time browsing here and other boards.
>how do you think you would react?I think this all depends. I really, really don't like the idea of sharing my waifu. I'm even lucky that she doesn't decide to spend her life with Link and sends him back to being a kid. So she is not even taken in her source material. I have also not really seen her well-loved outside of people talking in a strictly fighting game context or, in the case of the Japanese, they seem to like her more than people in other nations. But I don't think many would waifu her there. And even if they did, I wouldn't even be aware of it. So while I am probably not the only person in the world to waifu Sheik, I am not likely going to encounter another who does.
>do you secretly resent themProbably. I don't think I would want to have to share Sheik, especially when I am coming here to express my undying love for her.
>nitpick their postsWhile I wouldn't go over their posts with a fine-toothed comb to find something wrong, I would be at least on the look-out for blatantly wrong information, but like you said I probably would not call them out for it. I wouldn't really want to be starting anything hostile on a place meant to honor and love our waifus.
>do you perhaps accept themI don't think I could ever truly accept someone else loving the love of my life. However, I would show them the respect that any anon gets in these threads. And I might get more comfortable with them if they demonstrate that they understand Sheik more than the average person.
Could your waifu ever fit in with the modern world? If she kept her outfits the same, ate the same foods she ate in her world, she made the same jokes as in her world, etc. The only she changes is that she speaks English or whatever your country's language is, but with a thick accent. Would people like her uniqueness? What could you do to make her feel more comfortable with this world?
