>>3417382That's hard to say, because that scenario presupposes a lot of factors (not the least of which being that she would have been roughly 18 and not yet enlisted at the time of the Venice incident, which is what I consider to be the initial breaking point, but we can be flexible just for the sake of discussion). The Lena Oxton attuned for a position in Blackwatch would likely be quite different in upbringing and temperament from the one we know, which calls into question which of her most identifiable traits would remain consistent. We can't know for sure, and it's impossible to take every variable into account, so let's just assume she would be mostly the same person but with a demeanor more suited for black ops (same ideals, but less cheerful and quicker to engage in the use of lethal force). If so, she's been shown to definitely not be afraid of speaking her mind around her superiors, so I'm sure she would have no issue with at least calling him out or reporting his behavior if she saw anything amiss. Whether or not anyone would actually listen to her and take action, however, is another matter.
A Blackwatch Tracer could still be a pilot, but perhaps in a different capacity. Heck, as long as we're playing around with the canon, we could re-envision the Slipstream as an experimental stealth bomber or spy plane designed more for covert operations than as a traditional fighter jet.
