What about Sayaka, Kyouko, Mami, Madoka, and all the rest of the cast? Was it a Homura-centric experience? I found myself holding Homura as a person to emulate, what with her grit in face of cosmic trauma and suffering, but more grounded characters like Sayaka with her youthful pains appealed to me in a way that's still uncomfortable to grapple with. Sayaka and Mami appeal to who I am, Homura appeals to who I should be.
