I must in addition stress that I do not want to make this seem like a body/soul to shell/nut analogy.
Perhaps something better would be like a cookie recipe where you need eggs, flour, water, sugar, butter, chocolate and Rei Q is flour.

My objections here were to people saying Anno was writing fanfiction and that Rei Q was unrelated to any other Rei like for example Miles Morales compared to Peter Parker in the Spider-man multiverse.
