A few fanfics I've read have given Ryūko a motorcycle styled like Senketsu (Dark black/ blue color, mirrors made to look like eye and eyepatch, mouth on the front, etc.)
I could see her doing that. And then taking care of that bike like no other.

It's probably not your fault. I'm pretty sure I've seen that image before and it was that way as well. I think the artist made it like that. Regardless at least it doesn't look weird like some images do after you mirror them.

Watching the English dub for the past few weeks on Toonami was alright. I thought the dub was mostly acceptable. And then I started re-watching some parts in Japanese and the dub cannot even hold a candle to it.
Ryūko and Senketsu are too adorable when they have their squabbles. The English Senketsu VA is way too monotone.

It's not a bad dub. It's just that it covers only the essentials. By that I mean they adequately get across how the characters feel, their emotions, what's happening plot-wise. But it lacks the subtle features that made the original audio so damn good. Like the little sighs when Ryūko talks or her screams become high pitched. It seems to be a problem with direction, like the told the English VAs to hold back and not exhaust themselves.

It IS a bad dub. Half the voices are mismatched, the lines feel like the VAs are only waiting the role out to get their paycheck, and the translation is more "liberal" than commie subs.

Out of really matching voices, like ones that would actually belong in a good dub, I can only name Nonon and Mako. Ryuuko and Satsuki don't sound anything like the originals, and make no attempt to. In fact, Ragyou's VA would probably belong with Satsuki more than with Ragyou herself. (Though, I've heard that actress' other works, and she seems perfectly capable of pulling off a good Ragyou voice. Why didn't she?)

For as long as anime dubs are treated as a trash job in the voiceover industry, good dubs will continue to be scarce. You can lower your standards to like it, sure, but why not just listen to the absolutely stellar (in the case of KLK) original voicework instead?
