Summer marches onward, and Thread 116 is upon us!
Festival foods - yakisoba, yakitori, crepes, and of course cotton candy - are quintessential flavors of Japan’s hottest season. The sights, smells, rituals, and tastes of summer festivals would each, in their own way, be a welcome change of pace for Homura. Smoke and fire are a whole lot more pleasant when they’re coming from a yatai food stall and not from a witch’s labyrinth, after all.
Go out and make some new festivals and traditions of your own this summer. Get busy living, but never get so busy that you forget to return here, and post Homura Akemi!
