'Twas the thread before Christmas, when all through our house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;
Our posts on 4channel's /c/ board were made with care,
In hopes that a new Homura thread soon would be there;

The anons were nestled all snug in their beds,
While dreams of 2024 danced in their heads;
And Homu in her glasses, and I in my cap,
Had just settled down for a long winter's nap,

When out on 4chan there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter.
Away to my laptop I flew like a flash,
Tore open a browser and typed away with a slash.

Italics on Thread 138's bump limit did show,
And it gave pause to would-be image posters below.
Just then, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a new Homura thread, with a ton of friends I hold dear!

We spoke not a word, as we began our work,
Posting 150 images and not waiting to lurk.
We contributed art to honor the magical girl,
who with a single glance makes all our hearts start to swirl.

She's the only one whom we all revere,
and the meguca who deserves care even at the end of the year.

And so we exclaim as '23 leaves our sight,
"Merry Christmas to all, and to ALL a goodnight!"
