>>4858>>4863It's not at all inevitable that 4chan would have become what it has. There's nothing that says that increasing in popularity had to take it from a humorous, trickster-style content generating community to the more malicious community it is today.
I still hope that someday maybe will be a little smaller, a little less popular. What 4chan is now isn't the most awful thing in the world, but so much of the creativity and community gets drowned in the noise of board culture, meme spouting retards, and other obnoxious shit.
