The Chicago one is meh.

It's cool if you like comic books like I do, but that's pretty much all you should expect.

That and the occasional B-list celebrity.

It's like the only Con Chicago has that isn't specifically based on Anime.

I wish they would bring PAX to Chicago. Like Mid-December would be great.

I took my art samples to San Diego to get a job drawing for Marvel, and a guy stole my portfolio while I was looking at japanese toys. They had my originals and photocopies in there. I made the whole trip for nothing.

SDCC isn't bad but at least support the comic side of the con because sadly about have of the people that I talked to this year were surprised that they still make comics.

SDCC has lost it's roots. Attend emerald city comiccon or wondercon if you want comics. SDCC is now just a massive film/tv showcase.
