>>698502If you keep rejecting the idea that you can make your life even marginally better through small actions, you're never going to be happy. This is coming from an alcoholic (I don't drink anymore, but that shit is for life) who's also going bald and has a novel thick medical record. It goes a long way to do something that just makes you happy rather than spending that time sitting around thinking of all the reasons you have to be sad or afraid or angry. And deflecting that anger on people who are just trying to give you advice isn't going to get you love, fame, or validation any time soon. And again, that's not even something you should care about. Pick up a new hobby or something or hone your art skills. Play a video game you like. Call up old friends. These are all things you have control over. A lot of people think that because they aren't insta-happy after doing these things, it doesn't help. But change is gradual unless you're put on meds.
>>698502>you say that like theres a difference between this and therapy. Two of my past therapists gave me free popcorn and candy but that was back when I was a kid and not a grown adult.
