if you want a camera that makes really nice images and has amazing sooc(raw) files then you can go for
>nikons D850one of the best cameras ever made and its a pro favorite alongside medium format brands cameras from phaseone and hasselblad. it was and for some still is THE camera for film/cine, sports, weddings and high end fashion and portraiture for a lot of really famous photographers. its a DSLR from 2018 and in terms of IQ and its raw file color data workability, it beats 99% of all cameras ever made, including both newer and older flagship models such as canons 1DXxx or R3, sonys a1 or nikons D5/D6 or Z9... etc. you can easily find one for less than $1000 in both amazing condition AND also with less than 50k shutter count.
>fujis x100v another camera offering really nice IQ without the need for buying a really expensive lens and it can be found for around $1000. dont really have much to say about it, ive never personally tried it like i did D850 but its a favorite second body for a big number of really famous photographers, so it must perform up to their standards at the very least.
>canons 5DmkIV or the older 1DXllcertified hood classics when it comes to image quality. especially the 1DXll, which is a legend of a camera and really close to D850 in IQ. these two bodies were known as ''workhorse'' cameras and were used for literally everything from sports, ladnscape, wildlife and automotive, all the way to portraiture, fashion, weddings and product photography. both can be found under $1000.
>nikons d500still one of the best sports/motorsports, wildlife and action cameras even in 2024, even though its a DSLR from 2016. another classic legend. dont think i have to say anything about this camera. can easily find one for +/-$700.
