>>4258402>My man, they are not catering to anyone at this point, except retarded bird watching boomersyou don't know how right you are. some weeks ago I was at the nature photographer festival in Lünen, Germany (I think it's one of the biggest conventions for nature photogs in Europe).
there was a camera market section with all the manufacturers having stands.
the olympus stand was full with retirees. old people. I shit you not. only old retiree boomers that were spering out about MUH HANDHELD REACH
only thing more sad was the fuji stand where they had 3 cams (XS10 or something like that) and no one went there because they didn't have anything interesting
Nikon was great. they had a lot of glass - from the newest Z stuff to some older AF-S glass. I tried the ZF and spoke to the nikon drone who told me that if I wanted a Z6III I should wait til spring. (the ZF looks nice but ergonomics suck when you have a large lens attached to it).
(there was no panasonic stand)
oly was really funny because all the old people gathered there. 40yo boomers like me were all over nikon and canon.
there was also a leica stand but you weren't allowed to touch the cameras lol ... they just wanted to sell binoculars
