Second, the film take-up spool or the gears would scratch the negatives, which can happen with thumb-wheel advancing cameras. Lens was perfect though and the flash recycling time ridiculously fast with fresh batteries. Never had any issues with its auto focus, pretty accurate, decently bright viewfinder for a P&S from the late 80s. The fact that the little clam shell design is slim is also something i appreciate, compared to that bulging XA2.
I replaced it with the fuji klasse because I found it for a bargain, 40 eur, otherwise I would've probably fixed whatever caused the scratched negatives and kept it.
