You can most definitely approach a landscape with creative intent and show it like it hasn't been seen before by anyone else because the combination of artistic vision, the material means to realize it, knowing the location and having access to it at the right time weren't there before. Art is complex and you anon, I'm afraid you are what is called a simpleton.
Now, it's a given that the mere press of a button can't honestly be called art. But that's not what landscape photography is about, that's just what tourist snapshits are about.
