derp sorry yall i'm typically on

I'm taking my digital art to the next level making and selling prints, I made 16 test prints and sold out last weekend (of ONE piece :)
This is kind of a weekend thing but i'm ready to drop some dough on a really nice printer. My 3 dye epson just aint gonna cut it at this rate.
I am torn between the Cannon Pro 200 and 1000. I was talked out of getting the 300 by someone who knows way more than me. But while I can imediately justify the cost of a 200 or 300, the 1000 is just out of reach budget wise this month.
I am confident I could sell enough prints using a 200 to buy a 1000, but the timeline for that is a bit fuzzy. If I only ever get one I'd prefer for it to be the 1000, but there are definatly pieces of mine that would benefit more from the dye based ink, and i have a client that isn't as interested in archival gallery tier prints.
If I got the 1000 I don't think I'd ever get a 200, so it might be nice to have both eventually.
Anyway the plan is currently to get a 200 and work up to a 1000, but I am getting pressure from gallery owners and the idea of archival prints makes me EXTREMELY HORNY.
Anyway any input? Is the 1000 just simply worth waiting a month to bridge that $400 gap or is the 200 worth getting?
