>>14318119And AEW has a s surprising low number of assets....like really, really low. Most of the talents own their ring names, entrance music and other IP. AEW doesn't have a training facility/arena, headquarters, and so on. They have some rings, some sets, some equipment and not a lot else. WCW had the same issue when it was time to sell. AEW's video game was also a major disappointment with no follow-up on the horizon.
Compare to WWE which owns these trademarks, among hundreds: Sasha Banks, Edge, Rusev, Jack Swagger, Ultimate Warrior, Roman Reigns, LWO/NWO, The Big Show, Razor Ramon, Cesaro, Paige, The Bellas, Trish Stratus, Seth Rollins, Gunther, and so on, along with most of their entrance themes that are being sold/monetized on YouTube, Spotify, etc, right now. For most of the guys allowed to use their own name, WWE still produced IP for them like Randy Orton, AJ Styles, Nakamura, etc theme music. WWE video games are a proven yearly money-maker.
It's all about revenue streams and leverage, and Tony is too much of a nice guy to really make $$$ and build value in wrestling. He has to settle for sycophants padding the numbers, but lucky for us, only a retard bank would write AEW a check based on a Forbes article. They're all going to do their due diligence, and nobody who has done due diligence would value AEW at $2,000,000,000.
