Where a lot of these botches come from are the idea that wrestling is no longer improv, but a choreographed performance. If someone whiffs a dive, you still sell it. Someone forgets to kick out before 3, just stop counting. Come up with a cool spot but can't organically fit it in the match, just stop dead in your tracks and visually show the fans that you're helping each other get in position for the spot.
