>>9683499>someone copy this and use it as OP post in a new threadAEW Dynamite usually always goes right into the action with the first match being a 15 min "party match". (Watch them start with the MJF Day segment this week as I write this.)
A very hard-hitting women's division. This is something that developed over the last few months.
Almost every performer being very over.
The crowd being super engaged throughout the show.
The whole card incl. every match and almost every segment being know days before the show takes place. There are no re-writes, or impulse changes unless someone gets injured, or can't make the show and even then we get informed about it in advance before the show happens.
A big focus on fast-paced PWG style action with a lot of spot wrestling, since a lot of wrestlers came up in that environment.
At the same time one of AEW's biggest strenghts is the variety in styles. Every match will look different. Sammy Guevara vs Kommander will be a spot fest. Jamie Hayter vs Riho will be hard-hitting. Gunns vs FTR will be very old-school. HOB vs Best Friends will be a party match with many different styles involved.
A lot of brawls. This is to set up future matches and get as many people on the show as possible.
People showing up regularly that aren't part of the official AEW roster. AEW embraces the fact that there's a vast wrestling world outside of AEW. Commentary will always give a short introduction to those people.
Unscripted promos that are rough around the edges, but feel real. There are bullet points for performers, but there a no scripts they need to follow.
A lot of stables and factions to get as many people on the show as possible.
A big focus on tag team and trios wrestling.
Commentary (Excalibur) running down whole cards for the next AEW TV shows before the main event.
Commentary focus on calling the action, but explaining characters and stories, telling you about upcoming segments and doing a little banter as well.
