“Excuse me, are you Picaro Calavera?” A woman’s voice you faintly remember calls to you as you take out your scroll.
“Who’s asking?” You turn to see a woman, a man and a girl, all sharing hair and eye color. Siblings? The age difference is curious.
“It’s him! Look Ghira! Adee mentioned that funny stare.”
“I don’t know Kali,” the man replies in a gruff voice. “Adam said he was a very strong huntsman.” Ghira eyes you up and down. “He doesn’t seem very impressive.”
The name Adam blares alarms in your head, you covertly call Promised Return, cursing when you don’t feel the comforting weight.
“Why don’t we ask Blakey?” Kali’s voice retains the sweetness, but now with a certain sharpness.
The girl, Blake, gives you one of the nastiest glares you’ve ever received, beaten only by Adam’s.
“Blakey, sweetie.” She stretches her words. “Is this the gentleman you attacked last night?”
“What?”
Blake looks to the side. “Maybe.”
You try to remember but draw a blank.
“Maybe?” Kali repeats in an overly sweet tone.
“Y-yes.”
“And what do we do after annoying one of Adee’s nice friend?”
Blake returns her glare at you. “He isn’t Adam’s friend. He’s a coward and he was drunk while a poor faunus was counting on him.” Blake points an accusatory finger at you. “It was my duty to beat some sense into him!”
“And where did that get you, honey?”
Blake averts her eyes again. “I’d have won if that mysterious huntsman didn’t appear.”
What?
Ghira sighs. “It’s clear my daughter,” daughter?! “won’t be saying sorry anytime soon, so please accept my deepest apology instead.” He offers a handshake.
>Accept the peace offer, no point antagonizing now.
>Reject it, don’t wanna get too chummy with another White Fang leader.
But what really has your attention is the glaring young girl. What will you ask her?
