>>5977871His hands flow into a masterful display of waterbending and the water below him flushes over on top of the ships, knocking over even more soldiers, you see Uncle knock his head on the bridge as he falls and he seemingly passes out. The Avatar keeps himself still in a great sphere of spinning, cutting air as he overlooks the scene, then heads towards Zuko’s ship and lands on its bridge.
Zuko is the only one standing on the bridge and you watch him strike a battle stance, undeterred by the sight in front of him.
The Avatar takes a waterbending stance and his hands and upper body flow as he summons the icy water of the southern pole onto the ship again. Zuko rushes forward and jumps, spinning his body into two wild fire kicks before landing back on the bridge and throwing a further two fierce fireballs in quick succession.
The water surrounding the Avatar washes over the fire. A great pool has formed on the bridge and the Avatar puts his hands into it, as he removes them, great whips of water form around his arms and he slams Zuko twice with them, first Brother is slammed on the ground, then he gets sweeped right off the boat and into the water.
You look over the railing and see your knocked out brother sinking into the depths.
The Avatar suddenly turns back to normal and slumps down onto the ground, unconscious. The six-legged beast lands on Zuko’s ship to pick him up.
He’s yours! You cackle. Knocked out and ready to be thrown into one of your ship’s cells. Meanwhile, your idiotic brother is…
Not coming out of the water. The headache returns. “Please!” Your mother’s voice yells and thumps. “Your brother! Save him!”
Uncle is out of commission, your soldiers can barely stand on their own two legs. You are his only salvation.
But if he dies, you will get the Avatar after dealing with those intruders, Father will have to name you heir. If he dies…
If he dies. The thought is unbearable in your mind right now, and you hear voices pleading for you to help him. Your mother, Uncle, cousin Lu Ten, even Mai.
You grip your head with your hands so hard that you can feel a bit of blood trickle down your fingers. “Let him die.” You hear your father’s snivelling voice. “He was supposed to anyway, Fire Lord Azulon wanted him dead. And he dishonored the Fire Nation not once but twice already.”
The voices drown him out as a dark chuckle echoes in your mind, hidden amongst the pleas. The headache is bad, but you can still move, it’s not stopping you.
