He looked like he was about to say something, but a loud crackle of thunder drew everyone’s attention to the west. In one particular part of the city, the weather had gone completely haywire. Hurricane winds, torrential rain, and violent lightning storms erupted all at once. All with a lone, floating figure at its center. That must be Storm, another powerful mutant from the X-Men.
Flint shivered as he looked up at her.
<span class="mu-g">“I don’t care where we go, so long as it's away from her. She’d blow me to pieces if I went over there.”</span>
Gwen seemed to agree. She was caught somewhere between fear and awe.
<span class="mu-g">“We sure could use the firepower, though...”</span>
Just then, you got a notification from your phone warning you about an incoming call. It was the Prowler!
<span class="mu-r">“What’s up?”</span>
<span class="mu-g">“Huntsman. It’s Cindy. She’s hurt bad.”</span>
Your mind went blank for a moment, and you could feel the bottom dropping out from your stomach.
<span class="mu-r">“How bad? What happened!?”</span>
<span class="mu-g">“I think she got cornered by some Doombots. There’s another kid here. A vigilante, I think. She helped find me. She also says that Typhoid Mary saved them. Don’t know why, but I’m not gonna question it. I’m gonna give her a dose of the Horton Cells that I got from Vegas. Should help speed up her healing process.”</span>
<span class="mu-r">“‘Should’?”</span>
<span class="mu-g">“The results can be a bit unpredictable sometimes, but I’m pretty sure it’ll work.”</span>
He muttered a curse under his breath.
<span class="mu-g">“I never should’ve let her go off on her own.”</span>
Gwen was giving you a concerned look, but you couldn’t find it in you to pay her any attention right now.

I know a pretty good doctor in the city.” (Beat down Doctor Strange’s door until he lets you in.)>”If you’re confident that you can save her, then I’ll leave her in your capable hands. If I’m being honest, I feel more comfortable with her out of the fight.”>”Don’t beat yourself up. I should’ve checked in with her earlier.”>”Khonshu!
