Peter Pan, boy eternal, swooped down to snatch two tiny figures off of the chameleon. One was the girl from before, and the other was a miniaturized version of Croaker, squirming and kicking like mad. Without a word of warning, Prowler stepped forward, pointed his wrist at the tiny tyrant, and let out a quick puff of purple smoke. The shrunken squirt’s movements grew sluggish, before he went limp entirely.
<span class="mu-g">“Took you long enough.”</span> he said, readjusting the settings on his gauntlets.
Peter opened his mouth to reply, but a scream from one of the Redskins drew his attention. The scene that unfolded before you was more than a little chaotic.
Giant birds were throwing their riders off and flying off into the sky. Overgrown rodents were scrambling around the village in fear. Enlarged reptiles were moving threateningly towards the other tribesmen.
<span class="mu-b">“Looks like Croaker didn’t train them as well as he thought.”</span> Cat said nervously.
That was the understatement of a lifetime. The only good thing about all this was the immediate retreat of the mutant chameleons.
<span class="mu-b">“Do they even make leashes this big?”</span> Callisto asked as she drew her knives once more.
<span class="mu-g">“I have another suggestion.”</span> Anastasia said, gripping her spear in both hands. It was no mystery what was on <span class="mu-i">her</span> mind.
A rallying cry came from Tiger Lily as she rose up on the back of a giant rabbit, who had seemingly remained docile and obedient. She thrust her spear into the air and glanced at you imploringly.
What will you do?
