>>7480456Classic Space has more leniency because it's just regular lego; it doesn't have as much unavoidable lore restrictions as SW, meaning you can come up with tons of crazy and unique characters without breaking the aesthetic.
In addition to lore dictating all/most SW clones dress the same, SW clones also use more specific molds and prints. If you used some type of armor that doesn't look like it belongs in Star Wars, then it won't work.
I guess that's why people like the Clone Wars so much, since it gives the clones some visual flair to distinguish themselves and (most importantly) some minor differences in personality (or at least, that's how it seems to me. I haven't watched the show myself yet, but I've been meaning to).
