Neca's figure coming out poorly probably tilted things that direction also.
I don't think the original sculpt for the Super7 April was bad at all, it looked precisely like it was supposed since it was based off the original toy, but I of course wanted the more toon looking had the second release of the vintage figure included, so I'm kinda happy, though I wouldn't mind the vintage head as an extra still.
