MGA took the edge out of the new wave of Bratz dolls to make uptight, feminist mothers like the mom from the Mommy & Gracie show happy. What MGA failed to realize was that people like the mom from the Mommy & Gracie show weren't going to buy the dolls because no matter how long they made the skirts or how childish, and non-threatening they make the dolls look mothers still thought of Bratz as "the inappropriate urban slutty dolls I refuse to give to my daughter". This also turned off adult collectors as they wanted classic edgy looking Bratz. The same type of moms that started bitching about being able to see a MH dolls ass when the doll was bent over due to their skirts being "too short". Once moms and activist have their way with a doll line you end up with nightmare dolls like the one in this image.
