>>8536462Timmee's been copied a lot, notably there's an "updated" set that keeps most of the poses but modified a few: standing flamethrower became kneeling, kneeling bazookaman and rifleman became standing, "officer" poses were modified.. see pic. I don't think Timmee does the phony flags, rather it's the various off-brand copies and clones where I've seen them paired.
My brother had that same fortress, pretty sure we still have it in a bin somewhere. The green soldiers were copies of WW2 British Paras, the others were purple with his set and were WW2 Germans, think both sets were clones of Airfix armies.
In terms of scale, army men usually stick to the range of 1/32 to 1/35, though I've seen cheap armies coming in smaller non-standard sizes, roughly 1/40 to 1/48, and then there's the 1/72 little guys that started off as wargaming/modeling armies. Most soldiers are close enough that they can fight together if you're not super-strict on scale.
