All my regret for having spent yet another big buck on klocki when I told myself I'd slow down a little by summer time has been washed away by how much of a joy this set is to build and look at! It really is a lovely thing, the design is far more gothic than any other castle Lego had made at the time and it's also surprising how the build is even somewhat modular which is really not something you'd expect from a retro set. If something, I wish they'd had toned down the yellow accents in favor of more dark grey, but the overall castle still looks really nice in person.
Thanks for convincing me to drop 90 bucks on this bad boi, guess I'll actually take a break for now and purposely avoid CrackLink and searches for Lego lots on any other websites to save up some goddamn money. Either way, it's been an enjoyable build and it will probably look gorgeous on display.
