- Second, while the overall plan is fine for what you're trying to accomplish, in my own experience I think you'll find that this layout for the two yards results in slightly smoother operations due to the orientation of the points, with the goal being to reduce the number of S-curves which reduces the potential for derailments (ignore the lengths of each siding. They're just there for demonstration purposes, and you should have no problem making them long enough for your puzzle). You might have to adjust the placement of the yard buildings by maybe an inch or two, and the placement of uppermost bridge a little bit to make sure it fits.
- And speaking of bridges, suggestion number three is to slightly adjust the placement of the third bridge. This way, it's not butting right up against the diamond crossover and you've got a little bit more room for the scenery to breathe.
