>>10501027Honestly, there's no reason not to get both. Legacy Core Shockwave is pretty neat, doesn't take up much space, and has a fold-out 5mm handle specifically so he can be used as a Targetmaster for bigger bots; that same handle can let you mount him to other bots in various places, like on the underside of his Siege incarnation's wings.
Siege Shockwave himself is awesome - he's my second favorite Siege mold, period (the first being Sky Lynx). The 'Hoverboard' is basically the same as Jetfire's little hover drone thing - it breaks apart into armor that can be used to bulk up both of his modes, but is entirely optional and can be set aside or given to someone else if you don't want it. It's also possible to use the armor to turn his 'spaceship' mode into a proper gun that resembles his G1 toy.
I have the Galactic man version of the Siege mold, and two of the Legacy one, who serve as drones/clones that act as support and recon for the big guy, a bit like Soundwave's cassettes, except directly controlled by Shockwave himself. They stow neatly under his armored-up alt mode's wings for a better looking ship mode, though the colors would have matched better if I had the original colored version of the Siege mold. Either way, the Core Shockwave mold seems to have been designed with interactivity between it and the bigger version of him in mind, so I'd say grab a Core one first, and if you like him, hunt down the full-sized Siege Shockwave. It's not like making little clones and a flying set of armor is out of character for Shockwave in any way, so there's no issue with keeping them with each other.
