The whole point is that it's a 3 dimensional diorama, as opposed to a flat object. The fact you think /lg/ isn't an exception to the general behavior of /toy/ then I don't know what to tell you. Lego is a medium for creative expression. I haven't played with an MOC or model since I was 12. I don't want to play, I want to model. If you want to play then have fun, that's on you. I am happy with my purchase. Simple as.
