It's the corporate efforts to spread lies about sexuality, "diversity", and climate change to children and to our society at large that are the problem. They do this through social media and the way they run their company more than they do it through the actual product (but it does happen through the actual product some).
This is why I avoid new kits but still try to add vintage ones every now and then and keep kits from childhood on display too. The occasional new thing will sneak in as a gift or I might pick something newer up secondhand if it's really cool. But we really should all be trying to avoid buying new Lego. They are evil.
