Yes, the torso is comparatively small, but it works perfectly in highlighting the upper body and shoulders of the figure, which is something you'd want from such an imposing character in the first place. As for the posing, I honestly can't understand what the hell you're trying to grasp at, the articulation is fine and the Seibertron gallery for latter versions of the mold display that wonderfully.
