It's not cringe to put things in your house that you enjoy. It's not cringe to decorate your car the way that brings you joy or to drive a movie replica if that's your thing. Adulthood is a fucking myth made up by people with power to try to bring people into line and not disrupt they're power base, money flow or the status quo. Being different is frowned upon because being "normal" makes people predictable and easier to control and market to. That's it.
Yes, people get more responsible as they get older, but it doesn't magically happen when you turn 18 or 21, for some people it doesn't happen until they're in their 40s and I've met 16 year olds who were more responsible than some 50 year olds I've met.
Also, I think the Tortured Souls lines are cool and for me they have a pleasing aesthetic. Clive Barker designed them personally and his entire successful career is based around horror because there are enough people out there who really like it.
