>be me
>Amazon account gets hacked
>Some fuck orders hundreds of £ worth of women's clothes and hair products
>As soon as I realize I change my passwords cancel every order I can cancel and contact Amazon to let them know my account was compromised and all orders placed that day are fraudulent
>They email back saying they see nothing wrong and don't cancel the orders I couldn't cancel
>I make them phone me and I again explain that it's fraudulent purchases
>They again fob me off and let the orders ship saying they see no suspicious activity despite hundreds of £ worth of orders being denied because my bank couldn't verify with me that I was making those purchases
>Phone my bank and get all those transactions blocked and the case is being sent to their fraud department because they can clearly see those purchases have been made on a different IP address, sent to an address that isn't mine and they had multiple failed attempts to verify attempted big purchases
>Multiple items have already been delivered to the thief with more on its way
>Instead of listening to me right away Amazon have let all these goods ship and now the sellers won't be receiving payment, so instead of dealing with just me they are going to have multiple sellers complaining to them they haven't received payment and they will have more work to do
Now here is why I'm posting this here
>A few days before i place a Lego order
>Half has been paid and shipped and arrived today
>The other half is still waiting in the warehouse as it's standard and takes longer to ship
>They haven't taken payment for those items yet
So my question is if I get in touch with Lego and tell them what's happened and that my card has now been cancelled and I'll be getting a new one next week, can they just update my payment details and take the money from my new card? Or is the order going to get cancelled and I'll have to reselect all my parts?
