>>7183206Here's my 5 cents.
For (re)scribing panel lines Mr Line Chisels are superior because of the hook shape. Back of the hook works surprisingly well for cleaning/deepening panel lines.
I did not feel the need for any other chisels until I started getting into customizing/scratch building.
If you're only going to buy 1 chisel, get Mr Precise Chisel with 75G blade (triangular shape) you can do all kinds of scraping/scribing/cleaning/etc with it. If you want to get into Funtec line, get the "Tough" (triangular) blade.
If you want to get into BMC, get 3mm (the widest one) first, you will use it the most often.
>>7183471>The best value for money chisels are the Wave Micro chisel line.I would dispute that. Mr Line Chisels are arguably better for scribing and they cost about the same. For chiseling (removing material) Wave blades are too thin and I am skeptical about their mount (which is basically the same as XActo knife) when pressure needs to be applied.
