RG1 is good, glad there's at least one writer who won't mercilessly shit on poor Hot Rod.
>>9165561Nah there was a 1.0 design in the uhhh
Marvel's Infinite 3.75" series apparently. Apparently a 6" Death's Head II from GotG. Both are pretty expensive on amazon, I wonder if they're available elsewhere.
>>9165569Er..
RG1 follows Marvel US instead of the UK series, so the issues are from 81 to 100, since US ended at 80. Secrets and Lies is based on US as well I think. UK is still worth the read and is the same author, but you'll have like, very very minor continuity issues coming from UK I guess.
As for "can I pick this up", it's definitely a squeakquel to Marvel, one of the possible futures (G2 and I think an Annual had a possible alt ending). But issue 80.5 gives you a very nice intro to "here's what's happening now" as well as giving you flashbacks and exposition. "Ark crashed, battle on Earth, defeat of Unicron, peace under the Autobots after Decepticon surrender".
>>9165579Ah nice, someone gave a better and more concise response. Yeah, you don't need that much backstory for RG1, although it helps. I think stuff like the Underbase that you need to know about are explained to you anyway.
>some of the saddest and most somber moments in TF historyHm? Which moments are you thinking about? RG1's ending worries me but from the top of my head, saddest moment for me is from the original run.
>--Did... kuuu... I do... good?>Yes, old friend... You did good.;_;
