I just think it's ridiculous that the fandom has shackled itself to a shitty old series of poorly-animated commercials like they're the word of god, endlessly revisiting the same cast and plot year after year instead of coming up with all new characters and toys. Only one or two tfs a year anymore are more than a weak ploy to milk nostalgia, when the actual fun of the original G1 was that you got new figures every year. New names, new faces, new vehicles.
