Fiction-wise? I like them a lot. It's quite charming worldbuilding to have this planet of swordsmen in loinclothes in a Copernican universe that interacts with outer space in ways like "meteors fall from the sky and turn into people or animals" (and bringing Filmation into it, there's some wizard on Eternia who controls passing comets).
