For me, putting on some thematic music and running around while playing with my toy is how I plan out scenes, dialogue, and pivotal moments in most stories. It also helps me calm down and stim. I feel stifled if I don't play with my toy often.
I feel bad for non-tards who grew up. My autism unlocks my childhood creativity while my adult brain refines what I've imagined and puts it in words and images.
